Timesaver

In 1980 a below ground Timesaver system was launched to complement the soil range, and together they became market leaders in cast iron drainage.

Both systems were recognised for their quality performance, and were awarded the highly coverted BSI Kitemark in 1982. Over the years, Saint Gobain Pipelines has maintained its programme of quality controls, and is now licenced under BS EN ISO 9001:1994, Quality Assurance in recognition of its high standard of production competence.

Ensign

Ensign, below-ground applications has added a new dimension to cast-iron drainage as a competitive material. The modern design and considerable weight reduction of pipes and fittings, means the price difference between cast-iron and other materials has never been closer. Ensign below-ground system, incorporates a number of specific drainage application products added to the standard range of pipes and fittings used for above-ground applications in 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300mm diameters, with additional coating applied to the pipes (see appearance). New for 2002 is a range of push-fit couplings which simplifies installation, ideal for fast pipe laying as the couplings dramatically reduce the time taken to complete connections. Systems retain the traditional qualities of cast-iron, strength, rigidity, and guaranteed long life and are tested, assessed and approved by the British Board of Agrement, Certificate no 95/3125. Ensign is also Kitemarked, approved to BS EN 877.
